Friction Bolt 

Friction-anchored rock bolts,also called Split Set Bolts ,represent the most recent development in rock reinforcement techniques. Frictional resistance to sliding is generated by a radial force against the borehole wall over the whole length of the bolt.

Friction Bolt is used as a main support friction bolt stabilizer for underground or above ground projects in mines, tunnels or slopes or wherever reliable ground support is needed, especially in mechanised jumbo development and production. Friction Bolt is made of high strength steel strip which special refined with very low level of Si & P in chemical components, it will make the bolt in perfect performance of supporting rocks, and help to have a good quality in galvanizing. Meanwhile, with our advanced PLC-controled auto welder, the bolt will has a very good performance when it is inserted in the rocks.

As a main reliable ground support Split Set Bolt used in applications, C pipe of bolt body is the most crediable and reasonable size which can offer a perfect and safety way for ground support, so it is widely used in mines, tunnels and slopes etc. 

Welds quality is a very critical point forFriction Bolt ,which will affect the performance of the bolt while used in ground support. We have a routine quality mornitoring and warning system to get a consistance and stable perfect welds quality, and a job traveller with pull testing records will go through the whole processes to avoid any accidents in the production.

Galvanizing and Black Friction Bolt with different length are available. Made by high-grade of steel material, Friction bolt can get a very good zinc coating surface to have a better performance when it is used in corrosive environment.The standard packing Split set bolt is 150 units per wooden or metal pallet.
